Lab Supervisor, Technical - Mount Carmel Grove City Lab
The Technical Supervisor, Laboratory is responsible for technical oversight, day-to-day supervision of blood bank for Mount Carmel Grove City & Mount Carmel West Emergency Department. Ensuring that specimens are collected and received according to policy, and that tests are run and reported expeditiously following all quality assurance standards, and policies and procedures. The Technical Supervisor, Laboratory shares in the workload of blood bank and focuses on professional development and growth of colleagues and self.
- Education: Baccalaureate degree
- Licensure/Certification: Must have Certification in Laboratory related field, MT/MLS(ASCP). SBB preferred for Blood Bank Supervisor
- Experience: Minimum of four years laboratory experience and minimum of two years relevant section(s) experience; management experience is desired.
- Effective Communication Skills
- Highly motivated and self-directed
- Ability to relate to all aspects of health care team and can function in multiple situations
- Ability to coordinate and supervise all activities of a department section(s) or an entire shift
- Ability to travel to multiple work sites as needed.

This position will work day shift, Monday - Friday with occasional weekend and holiday coverage. If covering the bench, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm. If they are not working the bench, they can be flexible on the start time.
