What are the responsibilities and job description for the Order Picker position at Mount Family Group, LTD?
Westaff is looking for a 1st Shift Order Picker in the Bedford, MA area for Immediate Start!
Schedule:
First Shift 6:30am-3:30pm
Monday to Friday
Pay: $22.00
Responsibilities:
- Picks Customer orders daily, and follows Lot choices set forth by Customer Service on Picklist.
- Recognizes Lot specific problems on Picklist, and brings those issues to Manager or Lead for rectification.
- Meets specifics of customer orders in a timely manner.
- Maintains FIFO Practices unless instructed differently on customer order.
- Keeps products separated, organized and in good rotation.
- Monitors product quality frequently, reporting problems to mitigate safety issues.
- Monitors stock items brought to FINCON matching the part numbers with put away sheet, and puts them away using the proper location and signoff of the put away sheet.
- Operates various pieces of equipment (i.e. Pallet Wrapper, Hand Jacks, Pallet Jacks, Hand Carts, etc.).
- Follows good manufacturing practices and required work safe practices.
- Ship and confirm shipments using Fourth Shift.
- Prepares and maintains records of goods shipped, including documentation.
- Determines packaging requirements are met for all outgoing shipments.
- Pack and ship completed orders to the customers using all markings and labeling needed for shipment.
- Learn UPS, FEDEX, and DHL Software.
