GENERAL SUMMARY
The Order Picker (Warehouse) & Commercial Driver is responsible for processing receipts, storage, and shipment of raw materials, as well as transporting goods safely to designated locations. This position stages materials for production, moves them to and from the Production floor, and ensures timely and accurate deliveries. The role also involves food handling in accordance with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) plans and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

- Post receipts or movement of any product into PGI’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
- Stage all materials required for mixing, production, and packaging to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Take returns from production and re-rack as needed.
- Notify the Warehouse Lead or Warehouse Manager for inspection of incoming products.
- Rotate product date codes during pulling operations to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Maintain safety and sanitation standards in accordance with company policies.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Assist in inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Operate a commercial vehicle safely and efficiently to transport products between facilities or to customers.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT and company safety standards.
- Follow designated delivery routes and maintain timely schedules.
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of goods.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, receipts, and paperwork for compliance purposes.
- Report any delays, incidents, or maintenance needs to the Warehouse Manager.
- Uphold excellent customer service and professional interactions during deliveries.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Lead or Warehouse Manager.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 1 years' experience working with activities pertaining to administrative classifications and food terminology preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year of food manufacturing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and allergens preferred.
- Intermediate level Microsoft Office Suite computer skills required.
- Knowledge of local state and federal regulations related to food safety preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks and projects at once required.
- Experience working closely with senior management team preferred.
- Strong communication, analytical and organizational skills required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
- Self-motivation and ability to work independently required.
- DOT medical card required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of warehouse experience preferred.
- Ability to read and write in English, follow verbal instructions, and perform basic math required.
- Certified forklift truck operator experience.
- Ability to use a computer and software for basic data entry transactions required.
- Must be able to work in hot/steamy and cold environments and perform manual labor.
Pay Range: USD $25.00 - USD $28.00 /Hr.
