Job Description:
We are looking for an on-site Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team and help to oversee the quality of all products and services that our organization produces. As a Quality Assurance Specialist you will play a key role in ensuring that all aspects of our manufactured products meet the expectations of our stakeholders. Ultimately, you will work with a team to ensure our final products meet both industry and our corporate standards as well as all specifications provided by our customers.
Responsibilities:
•Preparation of First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR’s) including AS9102 Aerospace FAIR’s.
•Conducting & documenting process / product validations and internal audit reports.
•Monitoring and measurement of in-process manufactured product(s).
•Performing routine quality inspections and electrical verification tests.
•Identifying and resolving workflow and production issues.
•Identifying and assisting in the implementation of potential quality improvements.
•Discussing and addressing issues / potential solutions with superiors.
•Documenting quality assurance activities and creating audit reports.
•Assisting in the creation / documentation of training materials and quality test procedures.
•Ensuring that standards and safety regulations are observed.
Qualifications:
•Proven work experience as a Quality Assurance Specialist/Technician/Engineer or similar role.
•Strong knowledge of, and experience in, the generation of First Article Inspection Reports.
•Ability to read and comprehend prints, drawings, bills of material and other production documentation.
•Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of quality assurance.
•Knowledge of relevant quality and regulatory standards.
