Job Description:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the head coach in all aspects of running a competitive volleyball program with an emphasis on recruiting, scouting, statistics, practice engagement, and the student athlete experience
- Support the head coach in recruiting, yielding, mentoring, and retaining a diverse group of academically and athletically talented student athletes
- Travel as needed in order to assist with recruiting nationally
- Create, maintain, and use data management systems for practice planning, scouting, video replay, and tracking statistical trends (Hudl, Volleymetrics)
- Attend and support team needs at all practices and contests
- Assist with fundraising initiatives and organizing community service
- Serve as Co-Equipment Room Manager and Game Day Admin duty as assigned
- Promote a culture of health, well being, and safety in all aspects of the NCAA DIII volleyball program
- This is a one year, renewable contract
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Valid driver’s license
- CPR/AED certification
- Previous collegiate experience whether it be coaching or competing, and/or success as a head coach at the highschool/club level
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to efficiently and effectively carry tasks out to completion
- This position requires travel for recruiting and working occasional nights and weekends
