Job Description:
Mount Holyoke College is seeking a Workday Finance Analyst who provides technical, reporting and business process support for Workday Financials, Procurement, Expenses and Grants products, researching and resolving business and process problems and recommending technical solutions to meet requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support for functional & technical operations in Workday Finance modules, coordinating solutions to systems issues and prioritizing system enhancements, and identify and implement process improvements within the Workday system to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
- Support report and dashboard development and testing, including developing advanced calculated fields and conditional logic in reports and business processes to provide customized reports and maintain data integrity to support financial audits, analysis, reconciliation and decision-making.
- Works with LITS to define and support Workday integrations to ensure seamless data flow between Workday and other systems.
- Support for third-party enterprise systems (ie including Google Groups, OnBase document management system, Lawson legacy general ledger and other applications) that provide a service within assigned functional areas.
- Configuration and Testing: Works with LITS to configure and maintain Workday Finance modules based on business requirements and develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure high quality prior to deployment.
- Technical Documentation and End-User Support: Create and maintain technical documentation, including system design, integration specifications, configuration changes, and system updates; assist in developing user procedures, guidelines and training materials within Workday.
- Be self-directed with a high degree of initiative to investigate and resolve issues.
- Have strong written, verbal, visual, presentation and interpersonal skills – collaborative team member.
