We are currently seeking to hire a highly dedicated School Psychologist Long Term Substitute at High School beginning approximately April 28, 2025 through June 11, 2025 and September 2, 2025 through October 17, 2025. The preferred schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. However, we are open to flexible scheduling options for the right candidate. This may include working a few days per week or a portion of each day.We strive to hire individuals who are determined to see all students succeed, cognizant of their mindset, a champion of equity, and results-oriented. What Your Day Will Look Like.
The majority of your day will involve providing direct skills-based instruction individually or in small group settings to students in grades 9-12 and collaborating with the Student Services team at High School to provide crisis management and support including real-time response intervention. Counseling of students involves engaging, interacting and building strong relationships with the students and their families to create a safe, respectful, equitable and inclusive environment while maximizing their learning potential and well-being. You will serve as a leader in a multi-tiered system of support, which includes assessment action teams, student support teams, assisting in identifying students in need of instructional support, identifying metrics, analyzing data, developing rates of improvement, and progress monitoring. It is important that you promote respectful, supportive, inclusive, and optimal learning environments and a commitment to quality instruction and services.
Our Ideal Candidate.
- Valid School Psychology License or eligibility to obtain license.
- Ability to utilize the skills commensurate with professional psychologist standards and ethics.
- Experience working with high school age students.
- Bilingual applicants are preferred with the ability to understand and communicate with Spanish speaking students.

What We Offer.
To compensate you for the wonderful work you will be performing and support you will be providing, you will receive $297.00 per day beginning on your first day, including during the training period.
