Come work at Mount Horeb Area School District! We are currently seeking to hire a highly dedicated High School Science Teacher beginning March 31, 2025 through June 11, 2025. What Your Day Will Look Like:
The majority of your day will be spent designing, developing, and delivering quality lesson plans and curricula that adhere to national and school guidelines. Engaging and innovative daily lesson plans and science based learning activities are key in maintaining a high quality classroom that gives access to all students. As a High School Science Teacher you will also be responsible for accurately evaluating student performance and delivering helpful feedback to students, parents, and other teachers. You are someone who incorporates technology and hands-on learning experiences into the classroom with enthusiasm. Using various forms of instruction helps students grow not only academically, but also socially and emotionally. The ideal candidate also believes in collaboration with other colleagues and promotes understanding and communication in a diverse learning and cultural environment.
Our Ideal Candidate:
Holds, or is eligible to obtain, a current Wisconsin Teaching License in Broadfield Science (1601) and Physics (1625).

Enjoy working with students and other staff members.
Demonstrates and supports a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion
Bilingual (Spanish) skills and abilities are a plus.
