We are currently seeking to hire a highly dedicated Long-Term Substitute School Psychologist. The school psychologist will provide comprehensive services aligned with the National Association of School Psychologists' current standards. As a key member of the district's Student Support Services Team, the school psychologist collaborates to implement and monitor a multi-tiered system of supports. This work includes delivering evidence-based behavioral and academic interventions tailored to meet the diverse needs of students, families, and schools.
School psychologists apply their expertise in psychology and education through meaningful consultation and collaboration with teachers, administrators, parents, and community partners. They use data-driven decision-making to inform assessments and interventions, ensuring students receive the support needed to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Their role includes providing direct and indirect interventions, promoting safe and effective learning environments, addressing academic and behavioral challenges, and strengthening family-school partnerships.
