We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to design and implement cutting-edge cloud solutions that maximize the potential of cloud technologies. In this role, youll develop scalable cloud infrastructures, collaborate with diverse teams, and drive innovation for our clients. Day-to-Day Responsibilities :
Cloud Infrastructure Design and Deployment :
Architect and deploy scalable AWS cloud infrastructure solutions across multiple classification domains (e.g., IL5 to IL6 ).
Ensure seamless integration and performance optimization of core AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and EBS.
Apply expertise in Microsoft Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or AWS EKS when required for multi-cloud or containerized deployments.
Infrastructure Automation and Management :
Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to automate cloud provisioning and deployments.
Write scripts in Python, Bash, or similar languages to support operational tasks, automate workflows, and enhance infrastructure management.
Cloud Security and Compliance :
Implement cloud security best practices and enforce security controls across AWS and other cloud platforms to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
Manage and secure server OS images using AWS AMIs across multiple classification domains.
Operational Support and Troubleshooting :
Manage a ticket queue, resolving cloud-related operational issues efficiently using a knowledge base for reference.
Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
Monitor cloud environments for anomalies, scaling needs, and performance issues.
Collaboration and Communication :
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure infrastructure meets application and security requirements.
Communicate technical solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through reports, presentations, and documentation.
Cloud Development and Security Initiatives :
Support low-to-high development models and associated tooling to ensure secure and efficient workflows.
Participate in the development and improvement of processes to streamline patching, compliance checks, and security updates.
Requirements
Active TS / SCI with CI poly Required
At least 3 years of professional experience in cloud engineering, specializing in the design, implementation, and management of advanced cloud solutions.
Proven experience in designing and deploying AWS cloud infrastructure solutions at scale, across multiple classification domains (e.g., IL5 to IL6 )
In-depth expertise in managing leading cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), with hands-on experience in core services like EC2, S3, Lambda, and EBS.
Expert proficiency in creating, managing, and securing server OS images across multiple classification domains using AWS AMIs.
Extensive experience with Infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools, including Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible, for automating cloud environments.
Experience scripting and programming (Python, Bash, etc.)
Extensive experience in an operational environment; managing a ticket queue, ability to search through an existing knowledge base.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud-related issues
Strong oral and written communication skills
Active Comptia Security or other 8140 / 8570 certificate with at least 1 year before expiration
Experience building AWS cloud infrastructure solutions at scale across multiple classification domains (IL5 or IL6 ) simultaneously
Understanding of cloud security best practices and experience implementing security controls in a cloud environment.
Cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Associate / Professional or AWS SysOps Administrator
Experience with low to high development models and associated tooling
Experience with Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
