Primary Care Client Service Representative (PC CSR)
Mount Laurel Animal Hospital offers aspiring veterinary professionals the opportunity to pursue their dreams and turn their passion for learning into a successful career! We are looking for a client service representative who is eager to build relationships with our clients and their pets. The ideal candidate would have at least one year of experience in a client service environment and be proficient with answering multi-line phones, obtaining medical records, checking clients in/out, managing the schedule, client communication via email and phone, as well as other tasks. Summary
Our Primary Care Customer Service Representative is a unique and detail-oriented role within our veterinary hospital. You will be responsible for providing and maintaining the highest level of professional and personalized services in person, via the telephone, and through email. This is accomplished by seeking to understand our clients’ and patients' needs and building relationships on an ongoing basis with both internal teammates as well as our external clients. We strive to provide creative "one-stop-shop" service and solutions for their pet’s needs. We are looking for talent who can multitask, work well as a team, and grow with our practice. Our Primary Care Customer Service Representatives are encouraged to jump in and learn about all aspects of the Primary Care department.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Assist our clients with their check-in & check-out process
- Assist our valued clients with questions and support via face-to-face, phone, chat, and email.
- Assist our clients navigate admitting their pets into our hospital and reviewing financial options, deposits, and expectations.
- Maintain and update client and patient information in our database.
- Communicate to the staff, owners, and doctors any special needs or questions of the clients.
- Answer incoming calls, make appointments, and answers client questions.
- Proudly keep the appearance of the hospital (inside and outside).
- Handles scan files, client requests, pet insurance, record requests, and faxes in a timely manner.
- Participate in training and CE opportunities within the department.
- Assist PC management as directed.
- Success Factors
- Minimum of 1 years of veterinarian hospital experience – IS A PLUS
- Previous knowledge of ezyVet and Vet Radar operating software – IS A PLUS
- Engaging team members that enjoy building strong client partnerships.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Critical thinking and exceptional resolution/problem-solving skills

Schedule
- Full-Time & Part-Time Positions
- Flexibility to work holidays, weekends, and evenings is required.
Compensation and Benefits
- Industry-leading compensation based on experience $18.00 - $24.00
- Health, dental & vision insurance – hospital provided employee premium discount (35 hours per week) $300.00 per month
