Cape Veterinary Hospital is a proud hospital providing Small Animal, Farm Animal and Exotic services to all Cape May County residents and beyond! Our hospital is proud to be non-corporate and doctor owned and operated! Here at Cape, we see Wellness and Sick appointments as well as Urgent Care. Our team is trained in surgery and dentistry. We do not just see patients in hospital, but out on the farms as well.  Some of the job duties of this position include: answering multi telephone lines, scheduling appointments, checking in and checking out clients, managing and updating medical records and reports, discussing payment options, processing payments and client call backs.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED

Previous veterinary experience preferred

Ability to learn and continually train

Patience and respect for patients

Excellent communication skills, coordination, and ability to take direction

Ability to work in a fast paced, high stress environment

Essential Functions:

Must have the ability to work in a hospital setting, which includes:

Exposure to potential caustic agents, medical grade radiation, and cleaning products

Exposure to zoonotic diseases and wounds potentially inflicted by patients

Exposure to moderate to loud noises (such as barking)
