Position Summary:
The Community Standards and Title IX Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the effective implementation of the institution's policies and procedures related to student conduct, as well as compliance with Title IX regulations, and providing robust training and programming for the university community. This position will center the work through a restorative justice and trauma-informed lens. The role requires knowledge of federal and state laws, student conduct processes, and best practices in Title IX compliance to create a safe, equitable, and inclusive campus environment. The coordinator will work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including students, faculty, staff, and administration, to address concerns related to student behavior and provide pro-active trainings, workshops, and large-scale programs while upholding the values of the institution.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer the institution's student conduct process, ensuring fair, impartial, and timely resolution of violations of the student code of conduct through a restorative justice and trauma-informed lens.
- Serve as the primary Title IX Coordinator for the institution, responsible for ensuring compliance with Title IX and other related laws and regulations.
- Conduct investigations into alleged student misconduct, including gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, coordinating and facilitating hearings, providing appropriate interim measures and sanctions, preparing confidential reports and documentation, and maintaining records.
- Design and deliver training, workshops and programming for students, faculty, and staff regarding the Student Code of Conduct, Title IX, sexual misconduct, bystander intervention, community values and standards, restorative justice, trauma-informed care and other related issues.
- Maintain a caseload of students who have been involved in the conduct system to provide support, referrals, resources, regular check-ins, and individualized plans for success.
- Serve on the Student Outreach Support Team, a cross-functional team of staff devoted to triaging student needs and creating action plans for success.
- Participate as a member of the Division of Student Affairs, attending meetings, assisting with institution-wide initiatives and division expectations.
- Perform other duties, responsibilities, or special projects as assigned.
Skills and Experience:
- Master's degree in College Personnel Administration, Counseling, or related field required.
- At least 2 years of experience in student conduct administration, Title IX coordination, or a related role in higher education or a comparable setting.
- Proven experience in conducting investigations, managing complex cases, and understanding of applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Experience designing and delivering training programs related to Title IX, student conduct, and sexual misconduct prevention.
- Knowledge of, and experience with, diverse students' needs, including students who are first-generation, Pell recipients, and those from historically marginalized backgrounds.
- Experience working with individuals in crisis situations, demonstrating empathy, tact, and professionalism.
- Strong organizational and case management skills, including the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
