JOB DESCRIPTION
The F&B Service Manager juggles a variety of responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, so ideal candidates stay calm under pressure and know how to switch gears easily. Strong interpersonal skills come in handy when dealing with difficult customers or resolving conflicts between staff members. It is necessary to have a passion for providing excellent customer service. An ideal candidate should know how to delegate tasks, lead by example, and inspire employees to work hard.
The F&B Service Manager will primarily manage the front-of-house and serve as the leader of the restaurant as a whole. He/She will ensure the day-to-day operations occur smoothly to provide the best possible guest experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS
· Demonstrate full leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team, while working and setting the example to all other subordinate employees.
· Strong guest service and interpersonal skills to create and cultivate positive relationships.
· Strong understanding of cost and labor systems that lead to restaurant profitability, and comfortable working with budgets, payroll, revenue, and forecasting.
· Strong interpersonal skills to set the stage for positive interactions with guests and employees.
· Problem-solving skills to resolve staffing issues and handle guest complaints professionally and efficiently, or any other unexpected circumstances.
- Analytical skills to interpret reports and make data-driven decisions.
· Relevant industry knowledge to share best practices with employees and provide service to guest.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Foster and maintain a positive work environment.
· Train and mentor staff to provide excellent customer service and uphold company policies.
· Create employee schedules and manage labor costs.
· Ensure that all restaurant policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs and followed and completed on a timely basis.
· Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service always.
· Sets the expectation for FOH team members in maximizing productivity, maintaining cleanliness, organization and food quality while providing accurate speedy service.
· Maintains auditing satisfaction by monitoring, evaluating, and auditing food and beverage service offerings.
· Attracts guests by developing and implementing marketing, advertising, and public and community programs, and collaborate with other departments to develop promotional activities and attract new guests.
· Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy facility by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures.
· Maintains professional and technical knowledge by tracking emerging trends in the restaurant industry.
· Oversee daily restaurant operations, including managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining quality standards.
· Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
WORK SHIFT
· Full-time position with 40-45 hours expected per week.
· 8–10-hour shifts encompassing opening, mid, and closing shifts.
· Weekends and holidays are required.
WAGE
· Wage ranges from $68,000 - $75,000 annually.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to work on your feet for up to 12 hours. Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching overhead and lifting products and supplies weighing 20 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds as well as repetitive hand and wrist motion.
