Senior Project Manager - Change Management Practice - Digital and Technology Partners - Hybrid, Req#3020149

This position is hybrid: mostly remote, with limited onsite required.

The Senior Manager of the Change Management Practice is expected to be able to demonstrate a high degree of expertise and initiative in developing and driving change management efforts for complex, large-scale, enterprise-level programs across Mount Sinai Health System, as well as projects within the Digital and Technology Partners (DTP) department. The Senior Manager is expected to be able to guide project team members and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. In addition, the Senior Manager will be required to execute all activities and complete all deliverables according to the change management and communication plans they have created.


Responsibilities
  • Develop and drive Change Management plans and efforts for various initiatives and projects.
  • Develop communication plans and materials to support Program Management Office (PMO) projects.
  • Develop and manage project communications with impacted stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders.
  • Enhance expertise in Change Management to support expansion of the Change Practice within the PMO.
  • Assist Project Managers with Change Management strategy and planning for their respective projects.
  • Create templates, tools, and materials to enhance the Change Management document repository.
  • Adhere to PMO standards and templates related to Project Management and Change Management.
  • Demonstrate professional behavior with interacting with clients and co-workers.
  • Perform other related duties.

     

Qualifications

Education 

  • Bachelor’s degree. Prefer degree in Humanities, Communication, Marketing, Organizational Development, or a related discipline 

Certification

  • Prosci Certified Change Practitioner is strongly preferred, but not required

Minimum Computer Skills

  • Expert skill level with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, Publisher); MS Forms; MS SharePoint; Teams; Adobe Acrobat

Experience

  • Ten years of diverse experience in multiple areas of communication or project management, of which at least five years are in a leadership position, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • At least five years supervising communication-related, project management, or other staff
  • Six to eight years’ experience in a similar position strongly preferred
  • Superior communication skills, including strong writing ability, active listening skills, and presentation expertise
  • Demonstrated ability to forge trusted relationships with senior leadership
  • Organized, proactive, “people person” possessing a positive attitude and a high degree of emotional intelligence
  • Previous experience in Change Management, Communication, or Organizational Development is strongly preferred

  • Proven expertise in the successful planning and execution of comprehensive change management programs for large, complex, enterprise-wide initiatives
  • Superior communication and presentation skills; pristine editing skills
  • Skilled at facilitating productive, efficient meetings with stakeholders
  • Proven track record of facilitating and hosting engaging stakeholder events
  • Professional demeanor, including the ability to liaise with senior leadership
  • Comfortable interacting with colleagues at every level of the organization

  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills; sound judgment

  • Ability to prioritize and focus while managing a variety of projects

Compensation Statement

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for this role is $140,000.00 - $184,904.89 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
