Position Responsibilities
- Directs 24/7 nursing operations, ensuring clinical quality, customer service, and cost-effectiveness.
- Integrates nursing responsibilities with the Medical Center’s philosophy, mission, and vision.
- Establishes annual goals and objectives aligned with the Medical Director and management.
- Leads cross-functional teams to drive national and international excellence in clinical outcomes.
- Manages and directs unit activities through leadership of team leaders and supervisors.
- Develops and monitors the unit’s operating and capital budget, anticipating expenses and equipment needs.
- Ensures fiscal responsibility by tracking expenses, identifying variances, and implementing budget solutions.
- Initiates new programs and remodels existing ones to meet Medical Center goals.
- Implements and maintains high-quality, timely, and cost-effective clinical processes and results.
- Enhances clinical care through compliance with licenses, accreditations, incident reporting, and safety regulations.
- Provides leadership in complex situations, counseling staff and physicians for effective resolutions.
- Supports safety, compliance, and performance improvement programs while collaborating across departments.
- All other tasks as related to the position duties.
Qualifications
- FL RN License, BLS and ACLS required.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing and/or healthcare related services preferred. Master’s degree and National Certification in Specialty Preferred.
- 2 Years of experience in Nursing at Management Level.
