Position Summary
Summary:
The Patient Financial Representative follows the hospitals and department’s mission to meet its objectives in maximizing reimbursement for services provided and ensuring timely cash flow. The Patient Financial Representative also strives to facilitate patients and/or their families with payments and assists those with financial hardship in the most cost-effective means possible.

- Must complete in-house orientation program
- High school graduation or equivalent required.
Experience And Skills
- Speaks, reads and writes English
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, (word/excel).
- Detailed Oriented.
- Previous customer service experience.
- Prior office or clerical experience or completion of medical billing/coding courses.
- Knowledge and experience with managed care and third party insurance coverage.
- Typing, filing, and accurate data entry skills.
