The Respiratory Care Assistant will assist in the advancement of rational, patient-oriented respiratory therapy. He/she will be under the supervision of a respiratory therapist or respiratory technician.
Education Required
- Must complete in-house orientation program
- High school Diploma or equivalent.
Experience And Skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Speaks, reads and writes English
- Enrolled in Respiratory Care Program is preferred.
License/Certifications
Working Conditions
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn
- May require prolonged periods of standing.
- Will require the lifting of heavy boxes and oxygen cylinders.
