Position Summary
The Accounting Clerk supports day-to-day financial operations by performing routine accounting, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks. This role works closely with all departments to ensure accurate financial records, timely processing, and compliance with internal controls.
Key Responsibilities

Enter and process vendor invoices into QuickBooks and help prepare vendor payments

Enter financial data accurately into accounting systems ensuring accurate coding to the correct General Ledger (GL) accounts

Assist with accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment posting, and follow-up as needed to ensure timely payment

Maintain organized and accurate filing systems (digital and physical) for financial records and supporting documentation including receipts, packing slips, and invoices

Assist with daily revenue reconciliations from ticketing, rentals, lessons, and food and beverage sales

Support month-end, season-end, and year-end activities

Assist with audits by gathering documentation and responding to requests

Communicate with departments across the mountain to confirm receipt of goods, resolve any discrepancies, or obtain required documentation

Assist with special projects and process improvements as assigned

Accurately record all hours worked, ensure time entries are complete, and promptly resolve any discrepancies prior to the end of each pay period

Complete all required trainings as determined by mountain leadership

Other duties as assigned by mountain leadership
Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required, completion or pursuit of Associate’s/Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

Strong computer literacy and quick to learn/adapt to new technologies and systems

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Reliable – consistent attendance is required to keep our operation running smoothly

Ability to handle confidential information responsibly

Ability to work a minimum of 12 hours per week, Tuesday and Thursday availability preferred

Able to work flexible schedules during peak Snowsports season

Experience with QuickBooks and previous accounting, bookkeeping, or office experience preferred

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Must be eligible to work in the United States

Successful completion of background check
