Position Overview:
Join our dynamic culinary team at Mount Southington! We are seeking an experienced and passionate Line Cook to prepare high-quality meals in a fast-paced, mountain-inspired restaurant. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys working with fresh ingredients, and can deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests after a day on the slopes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Assist with daily kitchen operations, including prepping ingredients, setting up stations, and monitoring inventory.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and timely food service during peak ski season hours.
• Follow all food handling and sanitation guidelines, including proper storage and labeling practices.
• Support the Sous Chef and Executive Chef with special events, menu development, and other tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years as a line cook in a high-volume restaurant.
• Skills: Strong knife skills, understanding of cooking techniques, and ability to execute dishes under pressure.
• Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment and food safety regulations.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
• A passion for food and mountain culture is a plus!
