Job Description :
The Department of Psychology in the School of Science, Mathematics and Technology at Mount St. Mary's University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor with a preferred emphasis in Clinical and / or Counseling Psychology or a closely related field of Applied Psychology starting January 2026.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Teach a 4 / 3 course load (7 courses per year, during the Fall & Spring semesters) that may include Foundations of Psychology, Research Methods and Statistics, Abnormal Psychology, Principles of Psychotherapy or other courses of special interest. One course load will cover mentoring senior capstone research over two semesters.
- Maintain an active research program that supports independent undergraduate research / senior capstones.
- Engage in service to the department and school, including academic advising, participating in curriculum development, assessment activities, faculty meetings and volunteering on committees of interest.

Salary Range : 63,000-$65,000
