Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to support our team in daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a commitment to providing exceptional administrative support. This role will involve greeting visitors, answering phones and filing invoices.
Duties
- Enter time for payroll
- Greet visitors and answer phones
- Enter invoices for non-inventory purchases
- Back up office co-workers when they are out of the office and provide help if needed with extra work
- Collect mail and distribute (including making labels for shipments)
- Enter expense reports for the salesmen and operations managers
- Complete reports for month end
- General office & administrative duties
- Process purchase orders
Skills
- Proficiency in phone systems and strong verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Experience in data entry with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Strong computer literacy, including knowledge of various office equipment.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility in tasks assigned.
- Previous experience as a clerk or in an administrative role is preferred but not required.
