Activities Program Manager
At the Mount Washington Valley Adult Day Center, we are passionate about serving the needs of community members with memory loss and providing their families and caregivers with respite and peace of mind. Our team of professionally trained staff take great pride in our work and making a difference in people’s lives.
We have an opening for a special person to oversee our activity programs and staff while working closely with the care management team. The position is responsible for developing, evaluating, coordinating and implementing all social, recreational, therapeutic, and educational programs at the Adult Day Center for a geriatric population including dementia and memory care guests. The Activities Program Manager recruits, schedules and supervises all volunteers and outside third-party activity providers, therapists and presentations.
The successful candidate will have proven organizational, presentation and interpersonal skills in a relevant previous position. Prior experience as an activities coordinator/manager or proven accomplishments in a related therapeutic position is essential.
