Overview: A construction laborer can respond promptly to complete all phases of a construction job, from the initial job evaluation and documentation to completion of containment, demolition, construction, and clean up. Due to the nature of the work, job sites can be challenging and require strong, resilient laborers to problem solve and get the job done. Sometimes, this work requires access to tight spaces, including attics and crawl spaces. The work is challenging but fun and rewarding, knowing you are helping your neighbors get their homes back together after a disaster. Duties: The Construction Laborer’s role is to perform construction work as assigned, which may include the following responsibilities:
Construction Duties:
- Demolition and removal of damaged materials
- Follow written procedures, protocols, and job scopes for construction services
- Move affected contents/furniture
- Set up and care for construction equipment and related materials
- Application of construction products
- Flooring, Drywall, Painting, Finish Trim, Doors, Fixtures, Etc.
- Keep the job sites clean and professional
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
