Description
Duties & Responsibilities :
Assist and direct guests on and off chairlifts in a safe, professional, and efficient manner, using excellent guest service skills.
Check all guests boarding the lift for a valid ticket or pass using a scanner.
Maintain the loading / unloading ramps and lift line areas.
Remove snow from chairs, ramps, and work areas.
Organize lift lines
Operate machinery and tools in a safe and responsible manner.
Assist in emergency situations as required, such as lift evacuations,
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must know how to operate basic machinery.
Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Must have excellent guest service skills.
Must be able to ski or snowboard safely to and from assigned workstations using company-designated routes (In some instances, employees without fundamental ski or snowboarding ability may be assigned to workstations where such skills are not required).
Must be available to work weekends and holidays and required.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements :
Must be able to lift, push, and pull objects weighing 50 lbs.
Must be able to work for an extended period of time in varying weather conditions, including extreme cold and / or wind.
Must be able to work at high altitudes for an extended period of time.
