Purpose of the position:
(FT or PT, Winter / Summer Seasonal Position) An Overnight Front Desk Attendant will work the front desk between the hours of 10pm and 7am. They will be the contact person for the night and answer any questions or concerns that guests may have during their stay. They may also be required to check in people who arrive late or walk-in reservations. Must be a friendly outgoing person with excellent multitasking skills.
Essential Functions:

Present friendly customer service.

Act as “Mountain Host” for all guests, give directions, answer questions, etc.

Check-In and out guests between the hours of 10pm and 7am

Ability to create new, modify or cancel reservations

Respond to guests request, concerns, or emergencies

Remove debris from driveways and all public areas inside or out.

Replace light bulbs, help with televisions issues, relight pilot light for fireplaces

Communicate issues with facilities to come and fix

Gather and empty trash.

Ability to shovel snow and ensure safe grounds for guests

Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.

Carry out all policies and procedures of the Arizona Snowbowl as described in Employee Handbook- Uniform, Grooming Standards

Report to work in Uniform “Fit for Duty” in full Uniform-Vest, Nametag, Season Pass, etc.

Maintain the highest degree of professionalism and service.
Education / Training / License(s) / Certification(s) Requirements:
Previous experience in guest services or reservations or 6 months of prior Arizona Snowbowl experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
Be able to lift 50lbs. Must be able to work in a standing and sitting position for up to 8 hours.

Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works in outside weather conditions. The employee occasionally is exposed to wet and/or winter conditions. While performing this job, the employee primarily works independently but may also be required to work as part of a crew.
