Description
(FT or PT, Winter Seasonal Position) The Lodge Attendant is responsible for ensuring and maintaining the cleanliness of the assigned lodges, including the locker rooms, restrooms, outdoor areas, and other areas assigned by the Facilities Manager. The Lodge Attendant is also expected to have positive interactions with guests, along with the ability to answer general questions about the Resort.
Qualifications
Essential Functions:
Keep restrooms stocked (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, trash) and clean.
Checking the toilets to ensure they are operational, plunge and clean if necessary.
Taking care of any janitorial issues that may occur during your shift.
Take out trash throughout the day, as needed, as well as at the end of the day.
Flexibility in working with/at Base Camp Hotel Housekeeping staff.
Flexibility to help other on-mountain departments when asked.
Positive interactions with the guests.
Knowledge of the lodges and mountain, and the ability to answer general questions about the
resort.
Education / Training / License(s) / Certification(s) Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift and carry 25 lbs. without assistance.
Must be able to lift arms overhead.
Position involves bending, twisting, stooping repeatedly throughout the workday.
Must be able to ascend/descend stairs without assistance.
Competencies Required:
Knowledge of safety and sanitation.
Professional communication skills.
Ability to work weekdays, weekends, and some holidays as well.
Ability to solve problems and take direction.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Possess a commitment to provide high-quality products.
Possess internal drive and motivation.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works in outside weather conditions.
The employee occasionally is exposed to wet and/or summer conditions. While performing this job, the
employee primarily works independently but may also be required to work as part of a crew.
