Description
Performs semi-skilled and skilled work in maintaining vehicles and mechanical equipment.
Qualifications

Some knowledge of equipment, facilities, materials, methods and procedures used in maintenance, construction and repair activities of a Ski Resort..

Working knowledge of automotive mechanics, gas and diesel engines, transmission, hydraulics, pumps and values, generators, and welding; price trends and grades or quality of materials and equipment.

Strong understanding of the hazards and safety precautions common to maintenance and repair activities.

Working knowledge of the practices, methods, materials and tools used in the modem equipment maintenance.

Skill in operating tools and equipment.

Ability to carry out written and oral instructions to their completion; ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the general public.

Ability to perform heavy manual tasks for extended periods of time and work safely.
