Description
Winter Rec Attendants are responsible for maintaining recreation and snowplay sites, clearing snow and cleaning facilities, as well as operating fee stations and providing customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Clears snow and ice from walkways using shovels, ice chippers and snowblowers.
- Cleans recreation areas by picking up trash and clearing debris from grills and fire pits.
- Cleans and resupplies restrooms and other recreation facilities as needed.
- Collects payments from guests using recreation sites; Ensures proper amounts are paid and proper change is given.
- Informs guests of operation hours and site rules; Responsible for maintaining knowledge to answer a variety of guest questions.
- Checks and Monitors heater operation and propane levels; issues will be reported to the Manager.
- Helps to set up snow fencing and other barricades to block off areas and ensure public safety.
- May be tasked to assist with traffic control within sites and guide guests through parking areas.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must know how to operate basic machinery.
- Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Must have excellent guest service skills.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays and required.
