What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substance Use Mental Health Associate (MHA) position at Mountain Comprehensive Care Center, Inc.?
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist professional staff members in planning, coordinating and developing treatment programs.
- Provide referral and resource information to individuals seeking behavioral health services.
- Participate and assist in educational training and community outreach.
- Coordinate and collaborate with other agency professionals.
- Attend staff meetings and training conferences as required.
- Adhere to all standards for quality of care for clients. This includes, but is not limited to treating clients with respect, maximizing continuity of care, seeking supervision as necessary, arranging for coverage for periods of absence, and maintaining all professional ethics.
- Be knowledgeable of, and adhere to, all MCCC policies and procedures.
- Provide other services as assigned by the Clinic Coordinator and/or Program Director.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in a behavioral health related field. Must have valid Kentucky motor vehicle operator’s license.
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to evaluate needs of clients.
Knowledge of rules, regulations, and laws pertaining to the care and treatment of mental/behavior disorders and/or intellectually disabled. Good verbal and written skills;

Pay: $14.42 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
