What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Health Professional-Mental Health Associate-Henderson Based- CSW/LCSW or LPCA/ LPCC position at Mountain Comprehensive Care Center?
Mountain Comprehensive Care Center is hiring for a Mental Health Associate to serve the WARM program in the Henderson area.
PURPOSE: To provide behavioral services to individuals with mental/behavior disorders and/or intellectual disabilities. Experience working with client individuals that are dual diagnosis preferred.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). Will consider LPCA, CSW.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of an accredited college or university with a Master’s Degree in a behavioral science, special education, or a related field. Must have a valid Kentucky motor vehicle operator’s license. CSW/LCSW or LPCA/LPCC license for Kentucky preferred.
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to evaluate needs of clients. Knowledge of overall objectives and treatment concepts. Knowledge of rules, regulations, and laws pertaining to the care and treatment mental/behavior disorders and/or intellectually disabled. Good verbal and written skills; patience and flexibility. Ability to maintain accurate records and reports. Ability to communicate with others in a professional manner. An eclectic knowledge base.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide behavioral therapy and clinical counseling to clients, focusing on those with developmental disabilities and special education needs.
- Conduct patient assessments and intake evaluations while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records, utilizing appropriate medical terminology.
- Implement crisis intervention strategies and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
- Engage in psychotherapy and motivational interviewing techniques to support clients' mental health goals.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $24.00 per hour
