Duties
- Load and unload products from trucks using appropriate equipment such as a forklift and telehandler.
- Accurately pick orders based on shipping requirements and ensure proper materials handling procedures are followed.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and maintain accurate records of shipments.
- Conduct regular inspections of loading equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring that all items are accounted for and properly documented.
Requirements
- Previous loading and operating a forklift is required.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to lift heavy items safely and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Work well with our customer in a friendly respectful way.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to warehouse operations is a plus.
