We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team and help drive excellence in clinical care, staff development, and regulatory compliance.
Position Overview
As the ADON, you will work closely with the Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee clinical operations, support nursing staff, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. This role is ideal for a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about resident-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing day-to-day nursing operations and ensure high-quality patient care.
- Support recruitment, training, and retention of nursing staff.
- Monitor compliance with facility policies, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct audits, manage infection control protocols, and lead quality improvement initiatives.
- Serve as a mentor and resource for nursing staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Assist with resident care plans, assessments, and interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Step in as needed to support direct care staff and ensure smooth facility operations.
Qualifications
✔ Active LPN/RN license in Ohio (Required)
✔ 2 years of nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting (Preferred)
✔ Strong knowledge of state and federal nursing regulations
✔ Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
✔ Passion for resident care and staff development
✔ Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
