Baker

Job Overview
We are seeking a talented EXPERIENCED Baker to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have previous commercial kitchen experience and a passion for baking (cookies, cupcakes, pastries etc.) with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products.

As a Baker, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing products that meet our customers' as well as internal specifications while adhering to all food safety standards.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Prepare baked good items daily to our recipe specifications, per par lists
• Execute the morning daily prep for the front counter inventory
• Communicate with front of house staff on daily special orders, immediate product needs, etc.
• Collaborate with management daily to help plan weekly/and or monthly menu changes
• Execute baked good orders for weddings/events/etc. as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, following all food safety guidelines.
• Keep inventory of raw materials and finished product

Your Qualifications:

• MUST HAVE PRIOR proven experience in baking in a commercial kitchen
• Must have professional references from prior baking roles
• Strong knowledge of food preparation and handling practices within the food industry.
• Familiarity with various baking techniques and weights and measures.
• Excellent attention to detail with a creative flair for design.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage daily and weekly orders and par levels.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
