Summary
As the Director of Human Resources at Mountain Lake Lodge, you will be instrumental in shaping our workplace culture and supporting our mission to provide exceptional service. This role is pivotal in managing HR functions that enhance employee engagement and ensure compliance within our vibrant hospitality environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business objectives of Mountain Lake Lodge.
- Oversee recruitment processes including interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of new employees.
- Manage employee performance management systems to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Administer employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with regulations regarding workers compensation.
- Facilitate employee orientation programs to promote a positive workplace culture.
- Utilize HR software systems such as ADP and Dayforce for efficient data management.
- Collect and analyze HR metrics to inform decision-making processes.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to management on HR-related issues and best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven Senior Leadership experience in human resources management within the hospitality or service industry with 5-8 years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices including performance management, benefits administration, and compliance regulations.
- Familiarity with HR software such as ADP is preferred.
- Excellent interviewing skills with the ability to assess candidate fit effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to manage employee relations issues with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong analytical skills for data collection and reporting purposes.
- Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration across all levels of the organization.
- SHRM membership and certifications are preferred.
