Cape Fox, subsidiary Mountain Point is seeking a Maintenance database Administrator. The Maintenance Database Administrator is responsible for development, performance, integrity, and security of the FEM (Maximo) systems for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The administrator will oversee and manage the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) while integrating data management tools. This role ensures the CMMS is fully operational, accurate, and optimized for scheduling, tracking, and reporting maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, data management skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments to enhance maintenance efficiency. This team member will also assist with U.S. Army policy requirements to maintain an Authority to Operate (ATO). Other duties may be assigned as needed in the future by management.
Essential qualifications for this position include:
- Administer and maintain the FEM database, ensuring data integrity and system functionality.
- Preventive Maintenance & Work Orders – Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules, work orders, and asset tracking.
- Data & Reporting – Utilize Excel, and Word to analyze system performance, create reports, and support decision-making.
- Training & Support – Provide training and technical support to staff using the FEM platform and related data tools.
- System Optimization – Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and IT teams to improve system efficiency.
- Troubleshooting & Upgrades – Troubleshoot system issues, implement updates, and coordinate with vendors as needed.
- Compliance & Documentation – Ensure compliance with company and regulatory maintenance standards while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Technical Writing – Review and rewrite technical narratives and work scopes to facilitate streamlining of the maintenance effort.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to perform required maintenance tasks, ensuring all equipment operates efficiently
- Support and/or lead Systems training for team members

Comply with all applicable Federal, state, and local environmental regulations including requirements contained in the Endangered Species Act (ESA) of 1973, the Migratory Bird Treaty Act (MBTA), the Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA) of 1972, the Environmental Review Guide for Operations (ERGO), the Erosion and Sedimentation Act of 1975, and the and most recent Manual for Erosion and Sediment Control in Georgia published by the Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission. The Contractor, subcontractors, and their employees shall be knowledgeable of all regulations relative to their job and duties.
Education and/or Experience
- BA in Associated Field preferred but not required, High School or Equivalent required
- Requires 2 years of experience in similar job duties
- Demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge of job-related tools and applications as well as strong detail to data.
- Experience with current security regulations and policies required
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Georgia Power Plant McIntosh Access Card
- US DoD Common Access Card (CAC)
- CompTIA SEC or Network certification
- Must possess or obtain within first 90 days, OSHA 10-hour certification.
- Desired candidate to hold a Level 2 FEM (Maximo) certificate.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Self-motivated with minimal oversight.
- Computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
Safety:
- Complete required training prior to performing any work requiring such training as reference in EM 385-1-1 or OSHA
- Participate in Government provided training such as: CPR training, First-Aid, Blood
- Borne Pathogens, AED (Contractor pays for cost of course), Confined Space Training, Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) Training, Fall Prevention, Chain Saw Safety Training, Haz-Mat Training, Boat Operator Training, and other training that relates to work required
- Ensuring adherence to all company safety rules
- Weekly safety meetings are required
- Rectifying unsafe actions and/or conditions immediately
