Job Summary
The Accounts Payable Specialist will perform clerical, bookkeeping, and accounting assignments. This position will play a key role in managing our payables process efficiently and accurately.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform a variety of duties associated:
- Process and review invoices received from suppliers and vendors.
- Prepare and perform weekly check runs.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of all payments.
- Ensure all payments are made in a timely manner and within established deadlines.
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries.
- Work with management to receive approvals for certain payments.
- Ensure proper purchase orders are received prior to payment of invoices.
- Other duties and tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job:
➢ A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience is required.
➢ Legally eligible to work in the United States
➢ Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required
- Prior experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices

- Required to use motor coordination with finger dexterity (such as keyboarding, machine operation, etc.) most of the work day;
- Monday thru Friday position
- Required to be exposed to physical environment which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements rarely;
- Normal setting for this job is: office setting.
Shift: 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday thru Friday with one hour lunch OR
8:00am to 4:30pm Monday thru Friday with half hour lunch
