Job Summary The Customer Service Representative will interact with the company’s customers by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints, generally providing a higher level of customer support for the collection of solid waste by Mountain State Waste.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform a variety of duties associated:
Interacts with customers via telephone, email, or in person to provide support and information for the collection of solid waste by Mountain State Waste.
Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers’ problems and concerns.
Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
Uses knowledge of a specific product, service, or other assigned area of expertise to answer inquiries or to forward to the appropriate staff.
Assist with customer billings and outgoing mail
Performs other related duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory duties.
Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job:
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 2 years of customer service experience
Legally eligible to work in the United States
Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:
o Proficient in working on a PC, and competent in the use of Microsoft Office. Full proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Word.
o Ability to interact and communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
General Competencies Include:
o Excellent communication skills including active listening.
o Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
o Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
o Knowledge of, or ability to learn, product, service, or area of customer service specialization.
