What are the responsibilities and job description for the DSP (Direct Support Professional) position at Mountain Top Health Care?
Duties:
- Provide 1:1 care and support to adults with developmental disabilities.
- Assists individuals in community engagement to enhance opportunities for improved quality of life, independence, and inclusion.
- You will be responsible for picking the individual up from their home or assisted living facility, bringing them out to engage in activities or outings, and returning them home.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience working with developmentally disabled individuals is required.
- Valid driver's license and full coverage car insurance are mandatory.
- Must pass a background check.
- Must be willing to drive up to 45 miles.
- RBT, DSP 1 &2 Certifications, and CPI training are a plus!
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 9 – 36 per week
