JOB SUMMARY:
Increase core deposits through cultivating relationships and suggestively selling treasury management services. Work in an advisory capacity for customers on cash flow and efficiency services. Develop market base of customers based on relationship building, and service existing customers by marketing expanded bank services. Work with Lenders to Expand business lending relationships to include whole customer services.
RESPONSIBILITIES:ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
a. Suggestively sells Treasury Management Services to existing business customers.
b. Identify potential deposit needs for mid to large size business entities and municipalities.
c. Maintains relationships with current customers.
d. Works with operations and treasury management support staff to be the primary deposit contact for all treasury management customers.
e. Develops and maintains an effective extensive professional network with potential customers. Actively participates in development and execution of the local marketing strategies and plan.
f. Develop and maintain a significant presence throughout the business community. Participates in civic, community, state and professional groups to further personal and corporate goals.
g. Participates in internal training to other associates to further their comprehension of the treasury management process.
h. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:Minimum Qualifications:
1. Bachelor degree preferred with emphasis in business, finance, accounting preferred.
2. Minimum two years sales experience required.
3. Effective oral and written communication skills (including telephone).
4. Use and understand various computer software related to carrying out essential responsibilities of the position.
5. General areas of competency: decision making, dependability, development, environmental safety, evaluation skills, interpersonal skills, prioritizing, problem solving, selling skills, team skills and time management.
6. Demonstrated record of achievement in social and/or extracurricular and leadership skills.
7. Demonstrated aptitude to handle sensitive operational transactions and customer relationships.
8. Professional appearance.
9. Self-sufficient/self-starting.
10. Must be capable of working with and maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information.
11. Ability to travel up to 25% to meet customers’ needs and for training purposes.
Physical Requirements:
Light Work - exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
