We are looking for a Residential Manager to lead, support, and empower adults with developmental disabilities to live more independently. This position works 40 hours a week and is REQUIRED to be available overnights, evenings and weekends to cover shifts as needed.
Job Overview:
The Residential Manager oversees a small group home, ensuring quality care and service for individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities. You'll manage staff, provide direct support, and handle administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the program.
Pay: $27.50-$32/hr (based on experience)
Hours: Full-time (40 hours/week). Choose your shifts (Day, Evening, Overnight).
What We’re Looking For:
- 2 years of management experience
- Background in childcare, senior care, or direct support (a plus)
- Minimum 1 year of previous caregiving experience
- Knowledge of first aid, medications, and basic medical procedures
- CNA certification (or interest in obtaining it)
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead by example, fostering a solution-oriented, accountable, and supportive work environment
- Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance
- Handle staffing, scheduling, and ensure shift coverage
- Oversee client care, including medical appointments, medication management, and daily needs
- Manage budgets and resources efficiently
- Plan healthy menus and maintain client financial records
- Ensure compliance with internal and external program standards
- Assist in the development of new functional areas, like day services or recreation programs

Requirements:
- High School diploma/GED
- Computer proficiency
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Valid Colorado driver’s license & reliable transportation
- Criminal and motor vehicle records meeting company standards
- Ability to get TB tested
- Flexibility to work varied shifts and handle challenging behaviors with patience
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients with daily activities
- Comfortable working in diverse environments (indoors, outdoors, vehicles)
- May need to handle physical or verbal aggression (training provided)
