Welcome to the Mountain Valley Treatment Center!
We are currently hiring a new Associate Clinical Director to help lead our clinical team at Mountain Valley Treatment Center (MVTC).
MVTC is the leading residential treatment program in the country for adolescents who struggle with anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and related disorders. Located alongside the Connecticut River, our campus—a former five-star inn—is a warm, comforting, homelike place where adolescents can safely overcome their struggles with anxiety and reengage in life. We utilize the latest evidence-based practices—including ERP and CBT—and provide short term care for clients from all over the world. Our clinical work is complemented by therapeutic recreation and mentoring from our residential counselors and occupational therapists. This comprehensive approach helps young people heal, rediscover their gifts and engage in life with renewed zest and confidence. Our therapists work as part of a supportive treatment team that includes a Clinical Director, psychotherapists, psychiatrist, occupational therapists, residential counselors and nurses. This supportive, interdisciplinary team approach is an excellent way to continually build better clinical skills and expertise.
The Associate Clinical Director is responsible for providing individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy to a small caseload of residents (3-4) while also serving in a leadership role within our Clinical Department. As a leader, the Associate Clinical Director is responsible for providing weekly supervision for other therapists, facilitating team meetings, supporting case management, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives such as program design, training programs, analyzing outcome data, and more.
We are looking for an experienced clinician who embodies excellence, is passionate about the treatment of anxiety, OCD, and related disorders in youth, and is excited about the opportunity to help take our program to the next level.
