JOB SUMMARY: The job of the Compliance supervisor is to lead and direct the compliance management activities of the organization; having responsibility for monitoring organizations’ internal initiatives and requirements. He/she will coordinate, help, and perform quality education to staff while directing compliance department operations, and training staff related to the compliance program and initiatives. The supervisor will assist the Director of Compliance in ensuring the Compliance Officer, Board of Directors, management, and employees follow the rules and regulations of regulatory agencies. Ensure that company policies and procedures are developed and followed, and that behavior throughout the organization meets policies and Standards of Conduct. He/she will assist in directing the efforts of all the performance improvement initiatives to ensure overall compliance with all regulatory standards including national, state, CMS, DNV, and other organization-deemed agencies. He/she collaborates with operations and makes recommendations to promote compliance within the organization.
Qualifications
Education/Certification: : A minimum of one year (1) year of experience in a hospital facility required, Compliance and/or Quality leadership experience preferred, degree in healthcare area, Healthcare Administration, or a similar field of study with a strong analytical base, preferred.
