Quality Assurance Assistant Job Description
Evaluate medical record time line, ensuring that content is correct and complete
Perform quality control audits to ensure accuracy across each function.
Performs quality assurance functions to accomplish hospital-wide coordination, monitoring, and insuring performance meets standards according to the QA/UR plan.
Assists departments with the coordination of audit information and recommends appropriate data-gathering mechanisms, procedures, etc.
Assists with developing and maintaining an unusual occurrence procedure. Assists with the monitoring of unusual occurrences; prepares action-taken reports for the committee for the Director of Quality Assurance.
Collect Consumer Satisfactions Data
Analyze case reviews, investigate missing information, and document next steps
Create reports documenting errors and issues for fixing
Work with the Director of Quality Assurance to improve existing procedures and processes.
Communicating with other team members to solve problems and schedule trainings.

- Knowledge and understanding of the chart abstracted data.
- Ability to handle frequent interruptions.
- Ability to maintain close attention to detail and accuracy
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload with the flexibility to pivot to different projects with little notice
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
