Responsibilities :
- Must have experience in visually checking quality or physically testing a product for its intended use and make sure it performs up to the manufacturer's specifications.
- Must have experience reading drawings for quality assurance purposes.
- Must have the ability to utilize technical capacity skills, organizational skills, and problem solving / analytical skills. In addition, must be able to utilize time management and initiative.
- Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products.
- Discard or reject products, materials, and equipment not meeting specifications.
- Inspect, test, and sample materials or assembled parts or products for defects and deviations from specifications.
- Observe and monitor production operations and equipment to ensure conformance to specifications and make or order necessary process or assembly adjustments.
