What are the responsibilities and job description for the CASINO HOUSEKEEPER position at Mountaineer Casino Resort?
SUMMARY
Accountable for ensuring high standards of cleanliness of all Hotel, Lodge, Trackside, Casino, Facilities, Parking lot, Jockey's Dorm, Rec Hall, Administrative offices, and Atrium.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the efficient and effective cleaning of all areas with higher standards of knowledge.
- Responsible for vacuuming all floors whether is Hotel, Lodge, Gaming area or Trackside areas.
- Cleaning, disinfecting, and restocking all restrooms and closets. Mopping and vacuuming floors around the casino, all restrooms and entrances.
- Responsible for removing all trash and debris from machines, floors, and trash cans.
- Trash and debris to be deposited in the outside dumpsters.
- Attend to guest as needed for any housekeeping needs.
- Ensure the safety and security of guest and employees.
- All other duties as assigned.
REPORTING LINE
You will report directly to the Housekeeping Coordinator then to the Executive Housekeeper.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATIONAL
High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred but not necessary.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
You will need to be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time. The ability to push, pull, kneel, twist, carry and lift up to 25 lbs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Will be exposed to working in a noisy, smoke / secondary smoke environment and seasonal elements.
MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED
You will be in direct contact with various cleaning chemicals.
