Food Service Associate

Job Summary
Clean, efficient, and economical food service is essential in a fast-paced Casino environment. As a key team member, you will ensure seamless operations in this dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Clean, sanitize, and store kitchen equipment, glassware, and utensils according to industry standards within specified timeframes.
2. Alert your manager or Chef on duty immediately in case of any equipment failures or needed maintenance.
3. Empty trash cans and replace liners.
4. Store food & beverage inventory properly.
5. Maintain cleanliness by sweeping and mopping back-of-house areas.
6. Document completion using opening and closing checklists.
7. Perform all other duties assigned.

Reporting Line: You will report directly to the Heart of House Manager and then to the Director of Food & Beverage.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills with a polite and neat appearance at all times.
• Ability to work collaboratively as a team in an efficient manner.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work all shifts.
• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
• Passing a background investigation and obtaining/maintaining a WV Racing License are mandatory.

Compensation: The estimated salary for this position is $12-$15 per hour based on the title, job description, and location.

Work Environment:

• Exposure to a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment is expected.
• Performing duties in various climates and conditions due to equipment use is required (water, steam, chemicals, and heat for safe maintaining of food contact surfaces).
