What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shop Technician position at Mountainland Supply Company?
The shift starts at 8:00am till 5:00pm. We are looking for someone who has small engine experience.
Qualifications and Physical Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Ability to work in a fast-paced shop
- Ability to stand, sit, bend and work on and around vehicles
- Ability to lift heavy objects (50lbs) repeatedly
- Ability to safely operate machinery
- Ability to work in excessively hot and cold conditions due to outside environment of the shop
- Own a set of basic tools
- OSHA regulated Steel Toe Shoes: Either an ASTM F243 M/I/50/C/50 or ANSI Z41 PT M/I/50/50. Or an ASTM F2413 F/I/50/C/50 or ANSI Z41 PT F/I/50/C/50
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure a high level of customer service is always provided
- Familiar with installing accessories on vehicles from running boards to emergency lighting
- Basic understanding of welding and fabrication
- Evaluate finished work to make sure that the services asked for have been completed, to the customers’ expectations
- Adaptability on projects from basic product installs to custom creations
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, and assist with overall shop organization
- Perform other various duties, as outlined by supervisor

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
