If so, Mountain Shine Construction is looking for an experienced Kitchen and Bath Remodeler to join our growing team!

As a key member of our remodeling crew, you will be responsible for all aspects of kitchen and bathroom renovation projects, from demolition to final touches. This is a hands-on role requiring expertise in a variety of trades and a commitment to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Execute all phases of kitchen and bathroom remodeling projects efficiently and to a high standard.
• Perform drywall installation and finishing with precision and attention to detail, ensuring smooth and paint-ready surfaces.
• Handle basic plumbing tasks, including fixture installation (sinks, faucets, toilets, showers), drain line adjustments, and ensuring proper connections.
• Perform basic electrical tasks, including fixture installation (lighting, outlets, switches), running wiring (following code), and ensuring safe and functional electrical systems.
• Utilize strong carpentry skills for tasks such as cabinet installation, framing, trim work (baseboards, crown molding), door and window installation, and creating custom solutions.
• Accurately read and interpret kitchen or bathroom design layouts, including measurements and specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring job sites are safe and tidy.
• Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and other team members.
• Troubleshoot issues that arise during the remodeling process and propose effective solutions.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.
• Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
• Demonstrate proficiency in accurately reading and using a tape measurer.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience as a Kitchen and Bath Remodeler or in a similar multi-trade construction role preferred.
• Drywall installation and finishing (taping, mudding, sanding to a smooth finish).
• Basic plumbing principles and fixture installation.
• Basic electrical principles and fixture installation (must understand safety protocols and local codes).
• Rough and finish carpentry.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret kitchen or bathroom design layouts.
• Must be able to accurately read and use a tape measure
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must have your own basic hand tools.

Bonus Points For:

• Formal training or certifications in relevant trades.
• Lead carpentry or project management experience.
