Warehouse Supervisor- Weekend Shift
Role Impact:
As part of an aseptic, beverage manufacturing startup, the Warehouse Supervisor will be critical in providing prompt, accurate, and systematic handling of finished goods and raw materials while providing outstanding customer service.
In this role, the Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for shipping, receiving, returns, carrier relations, order management, and product management.
Role Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with safety codes, policies and procedures of the company, and the standards established by OSHA.
- Ensure that food safety practices and all applicable requirements of the SQF System are maintained
- Assist in loading outbound shipments.
- Review incoming deliveries of materials.
- Responsible for ensuring accuracy of inventory; assist with inventory counts.
- Ensure that optimal inventory levels of full goods are maintained to fulfill daily needs.
- Work cross-functionally with Materials Planning, Production, and Quality to ensure operational goals are met
- Prepare documents such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders to route materials.
- Record shipment data such as weight, space availability, damages, or discrepancies for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.
- Maintain shipping and receiving schedules.
- Ensure warehouse is kept clean and orderly.
- Provide input and recommendations to Head of Supply Chain and Procurement regarding changes to improve the operation.
- Monitor processes for inbound and outbound deliveries to ensure compliance with established guidelines.
- Proactively communicate inventory gaps to the leadership and sales team and work collaboratively to resolve the problem.
- Conduct investigations to resolve inventory discrepancies and reporting errors.
- Ensure Forklifts are well maintained and that related repairs and safety issues are addressed in a timely manner.

Supervisory Responsibilities
- Promote quality across the team while meeting daily goals.
- Organize and facilitate team meetings, initiates, implements projects, and improves team communication and engagement.
- Establish and modify daily work schedules considering warehouse needs
- Ensure team members adhere to cGMP’s.
- Identify and rectify safety concerns.
- Responsible for direction, coordination, and evaluation of all distribution activities.
- Establish and convey job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports to assure mutual understanding and desired results.
- Assist in new employee training, refresher training, and basic safety training.
- Provide vacation an illness coverage for Material Handler’s.
- Promote quality across the team while meeting daily goals.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- OSHA Forklift Operator Certification highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- APICS Certification preferred.
Experience & Skills
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supply chain or warehouse supervisory position required.
- ERP experience required; Infor M3 experience highly preferred.
- Experience with AGV’s (Automated Guided Vehicles) preferred.
- Experience operating Powered Industrial Equipment (e.g., forklift) preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience working in logistics or shipping and receiving required; Food and Beverage manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be highly motivated, possess a positive attitude, and value a strong work ethic that will transcend to the team.
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work 10/12-hour shift(s).
- Must follow cGMP Policy - wear company issued shirt, hat, safety glasses, earplugs, and hairnet in production areas.
- May be required to work outside of scheduled shift to support business needs.
- Must be able to work with equipment that contains electric magnetic components.
